Asuka Langley Cosplay from Neon Genesis Evangelion

Asuka Langley Soryu (later Shikinami in the Rebuild films) is a central character in *Neon Genesis Evangelion*, a seminal anime and cultural touchstone. She’s known for her fiery personality, skilled piloting ability, and her iconic red plugsuit worn while piloting Evangelion Unit‑02.

Her strong presence, confident attitude, and striking costume design have made her one of the most popular cosplay characters in the anime community.

This specific version is based on the Shunya Yamashita version.

This cosplay took three weeks to make.

• Leggings- EVA foam, black & red YaYa Han fabric

• Leotard- EVA foam airbrush paint (silver), black & red YaYa Han fabric, PETG filament, zipper, snaps

• Breastplate- worbla, EVA foam airbrush paint (orange, black)

• Collar- EVA foam, black & red YaYa Han fabric airbrush paint (green), snaps

• Gloves- black & red YaYa Han fabric
